CampBrain and Campminder Alternative for Day Camps

Running a day camp on CampBrain or Campminder? Compare pricing, family accounts, French and pickup checks, and see how to switch.

October 12, 20267 min read

CampBrain and Campminder are full camp management systems, built for overnight camps as much as day camps. If you run a day camp, ask which parts of the quote cover features built for overnight camps.

Campix is our product. Every statement about CampBrain and Campminder comes from their own websites, checked on October 6, 2026. When a point is not listed there, the table says so. Ask the vendor about anything marked not listed.

Published prices instead of a quote

Neither CampBrain nor Campminder publishes a price. CampBrain offers a demo. Campminder prices each of its three suites for your camp, based partly on how many campers you enroll. Campix publishes its Solo, Team and Multi-site prices, starts with a free plan, and lets you set up and test on your own before you talk to anyone.

Families register without an account

Campminder families sign in to CampInTouch with an email and a password. CampBrain’s online registration terms describe a login ID and password for families. With Campix, a parent registers and pays on your link without creating an account, then signs in to the family portal later with a code sent to their email.

French for families

Campminder’s help centre tells parents who need another language to use Google Chrome Translate. The CampBrain pages we checked do not mention French. Campix shows the registration page, the family portal and every family email in English or French.
